Terms & Conditions
SECURITY BOND:
The security bond needs to be paid in full prior to check-in code being released.
The Bond is used to ensure the owner against damages, breakages, missing items, breaches of the below T&C’s and any other unforeseen costs resulting from your stay.
Please report any issues of relevant matter to Coast Escapes via text, phone call or email within 3 hours of arrival or as soon as possible to prevent any costs being charged to you.
The bond will be refunded to you within 3-7 days of your departure (pending a successful inspection). Please notify us of your bank details if required.
Any bond deductions are final, and no disputes will be entered.
If at any time throughout your stay a substantiated complaint is received, you will be evicted and may forfeit your bond and accommodation money.
CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS:
Accommodation is non-refundable due to discretion.
WHAT TO BRING & EXTRAS TO NOTE:
**FIREWOOD**
If a property contains a fireplace, you will be required to bring your own wood, kindling & fire lighters. Please ensure you clean the fireplace after use for the comfort of the next guest.
NO SMOKING:
Please respect the No Smoking policy. There is to be NO smoking inside the house, and the butts from any cigarettes smoked outside must be collected and removed from the property.
If there is evidence of smoking inside, the bond may be forfeited to fumigate the property. If our cleaners must collect cigarette butts outside, this will be charged at $65 per hour.
RUBBISH REMOVAL:
Please ensure all rubbish is placed in the outside bins provided. Bin collection day is in your check in details so please ensure bins are out on the curb the night before to avoid an early morning dash or extra charges.
If the bins are not put out for collection, then the charge to have rubbish removed is $80 per rubbish bin. Any excess rubbish must be taken to the local tip on Truemans Road, Rye - OR taken home with you.
Bins left overflowing with excess garbage and any garbage left behind will incur a charge of $35 per bag plus a $40 call out fee.
CLEANING:
Extra cleaning charges occur if there are stains on furniture/linen/flooring/walls etc, dishes left to be cleaned, ovens or fridges left in a messy state, dishwashers with dishes, BBQs needed to be cleaned, or rubbish to be collected inside or outside property.
Please ensure the property is left in a similar & respectable condition as you found it. Extra cleaning charges start at $65 per hour.
PETS:
Unless specifically stated as being ‘pet friendly’, no pets are allowed either onto the grounds of the Property, nor inside the holiday accommodation under any circumstances.
Any pets found in holiday accommodation properties will result in a termination of your booking and additional cleaning charges will be deducted from your bond if this occurs.
If you do have a pet and would like to bring them, PLEASE contact Coast Escapes.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT:
All electrical equipment like televisions, sound systems etc has been provided at the property in good working order. If you pull out cords and tamper with the equipment, then the cost of our technician to reinstate the equipment to the original working order will be deducted from your bond.
GUEST CAPACITY:
The property is rented out exclusively to one group at a time as indicated on your booking form or subsequently agreed in writing or email. You must not exceed the number of people permitted to sleep at the property.
If you exceed the number of people permitted at the property your reservation may be terminated immediately.
This will result in loss of your full bond and/or additional payments.
Also, owners have the right to immediately terminate your booking.
NOISE RESTRICTIONS:
Please note that this is a residential area and normal noise levels must be observed. The neighbours will not tolerate loud music past 11pm on Friday and Saturdays and 10pm on Sunday to Thursday (as per local EPA laws).
If there are any complaints from the neighbours regarding the noise levels, then Coast Escapes or the owner reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and/or to deduct your entire bond.
Due to new legislation and laws that are now in place you MUST read and be familiar with the Code of Conduct & Accommodation Local Law. If management receive a complaint during your booking your lease will be immediately terminated.
PARTIES:
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited.
Functions are defined as being gatherings significantly over and above the resident guests. Functions also include the provision of external equipment like additional chairs, marquees, and outdoor amplification equipment. If a gathering is taking place, please ensure you have discussed with me beforehand for approval.
The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
CAR PARKING:
Cars must be parked inside the boundaries of the property and not in residential streets nearby.
KEYS:
Guests are responsible for all keys and remote controls. Lost/damaged keys will result in charges applied.
SPAS / POOLS:
Please DO NOT touch the POOL/SPA equipment except for using the blower (bubbles).
If there is an issue with the pool/spa, you will need to contact me.
Spas/Pools have scheduled cleans before and after each guest, any call out for an extra cleaning or tampering with equipment may be charged to you.
IF SPA HAS TO BE DRAINED AND REFILLED DUE TO FOOD OR DRINKS OR ANY NON-CERTIFIED SPA/POOL CHEMICALS SPILT IN THE SPA YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FEE STARTING AT $180.
IF SPA HAS BEEN FOUND TO HAVE BEEN HEATED ABOVE 38 DEGREES AND DAMAGES ARE CAUSED TO INTERNAL EQUIPTMENT YOU WILL BE CHARGED.
Whilst every attempt is made to have the spa water serviced prior to your arrival I take no responsibility for un service/cold pools &/or spas as we use a third-party maintenance service, and we have no control over their roster.
BBQ:
Most properties have a BBQ and provide a full gas bottle. Please ensure to contact Coast Escapes if there is an empty gas bottle on arrival so I can compensate you for any costs.
BBQ MUST be cleaned after each use or a cleaning fee STARTING AT $150 will apply.
DEPARTURE CHECK OUT:
The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
Check out time is by 10.00am unless a late extension has been organised prior to arrival.
Late departure will result in a bond deduction of $50 for the 1st 1⁄2 hour, then $100 per half hour thereafter. If you are running behind, please contact me immediately.
Check in is STRICTLY FROM 2pm.
DEPARTURE CHECKLIST:
When departing the property, please ensure that you have read and followed the Departure Checklist.
LOST PROPERTY:
If you leave behind any items at the property, please let us know immediately and we will endeavour to find them for you.
Coast Escapes will post them to you at your own expense.
Coast Escapes hold no responsibility for these items.
Please note that it is imperative for you to read the Terms and Conditions and Departure Checklist, as this will ensure that you know all the conditions that could possibly cause a bond deduction.
If at any time during your stay these conditions have been breached, I reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately and/or your security bond will not be refunded.
*The guest indemnifies Coast Escapes against any liability for loss or theft of property occurring during the stay, and against any liability for injury or loss being personal or proprietary occurring during the stay. As per industry standards, I recommend you take out travel insurance for your stay*.
PRIVACY POLICY:
All guest details and credit card details are stored securely in the Newbook platform.
